My ChildhoodI was born in Southern California but moved to Palo Alto when I was 3 years old. I went to the elementary school on Stanford Campus and could be found making up elaborate imaginative games during recess, reading at home, or begging for more art projects from my teachers. I had friends in many grades as well as adults. I played most sports for about a year and loved them all, but wanted to try everything.

My educationI went to Nixon Elementary, JLS Middle School, and Gunn High School. Then I attended Santa Clara University to study Art History and Studio Art simultaneously! After working for a couple years in technology (database and web support), the professional development motivated me to go back to school to get my Master’s in Education. I started the Stanford Teaching Education Program (STEP) in June 2016 and graduated June 2017 with high marks.
